The App Store reviews scraper for product feedback

Kavex's App Store reviews scraper exports the customer reviews for any Apple App Store app into a spreadsheet. App Store reviews are one of the richest, most candid sources of product feedback there is — users say exactly what they love, what is broken and what they wish the app did. You give a list of app IDs or App Store URLs, and Kavex returns every review with its star rating, title, full text, author, app version and date. It is built for product teams mining feedback, founders watching a competitor's reviews, and support teams turning recurring complaints into a backlog.

What it does

Provide App Store app IDs (the numeric id, for example 324684580) or full App Store URLs, one per line. For each app Kavex reads its review pages and returns every review with the star rating, review title, full review text, author name, the app version reviewed and the date posted.

Use cases

  • Product feedback mining — surface recurring requests and bugs from real users
  • Competitor analysis — read what an app's users complain about most
  • Tracking sentiment after a release by filtering reviews on app version
  • Building a support backlog from common complaints

Sample output

Each row is one review: app_id, rating, title, review, author, version, date, review_url. Add the Review Sentiment add-on to tag each review positive, neutral or negative on export.

How it works

Paste your app IDs or App Store URLs on the configure page, set how many review pages to pull per app, and run. Kavex paginates the reviews for you. Use the Review Summary add-on for an AI digest of themes, common praise and complaints per app.

Frequently asked questions

What is an app ID and where do I find it?

It is the numeric id in an App Store URL — the digits after /id. You can paste the whole URL instead and Kavex extracts the ID for you.

How many reviews does it return per app?

You set a page limit on the configure page; each page carries roughly 25 reviews, so the limit controls the total depth per app.

Does it tell me which app version was reviewed?

Yes — each review carries the app version it was written against, so you can isolate feedback before or after a specific release.

Can I get a summary instead of every review?

Yes — add the Review Summary add-on for an AI digest of themes, common praise and complaints per app alongside the raw reviews.
