The BBB scraper for vetted local business leads
Find Better Business Bureau listings by category and location.
Kavex's BBB scraper turns any category-and-location search into a clean spreadsheet of Better Business Bureau listings. The BBB directory is a curated index of US and Canadian businesses, and every listing carries a letter rating that tells you at a glance how a company handles its customers. You give a search term and a location, and Kavex returns every matching business with its name, BBB letter rating, accreditation status, phone number, address and BBB profile URL. It is built for sales teams that want a pre-screened call list and for researchers mapping the reputable operators in a local market.
A RUN OF 1,000 BUSINESSES ON THIS SOURCE, AT 2 PER BUSINESS
Say what you want. Read the price first.
Everything else is a ceiling or a filter. The estimate moves with the numbers you type, so the run never surprises you at the end.
Provide one or more search terms (for example roofing contractors or auto repair), one per line, and a location to search. For each term Kavex reads the BBB directory and returns each business with its name, BBB letter rating, whether it is BBB accredited, phone number, full address and the BBB profile URL.
Enter your search terms and a location on the configure page, set how many results per search you want, and run. Kavex paginates the BBB directory for you. Add the Phone Validator add-on to format and classify the numbers before you export.
Charged per delivered row. If the source holds fewer than you asked for, the rest of the credits go back to your balance the second the run ends.
One thousand businesses, itemised.
The base run, then every add-on as its own line. Nothing is bundled, so you can read the bill from top to bottom.

What does the BBB letter rating mean?
It is the Better Business Bureau's grade for a business, from A+ down to F, based on factors like complaint history and time in business. Kavex returns it as a column so you can sort your list by reputation.
Does it return the business website or email?
BBB listings centre on the business name, rating, phone and address, those are the columns Kavex returns. For website and email coverage pair it with the Google Maps scraper.
Which regions does it cover?
The BBB directory covers businesses across the US and Canada, set the city or region you want and Kavex searches that location.
How fresh is the data?
Every scrape is live, you get the BBB directory results exactly as they appear at run time, not a cached database.
